Skeptics Doubt U.S. Evidence on Iran Action in Iraq - New York Times
Okay...is it just me or is this whole scenario sounding a little bit TOO familiar? The American people and the world as a whole have been lied to so much by this administration that it is way too hard to believe any "evidence" that is presented to us. And the fact that this is a case that has elements that "...could not be supported by solid intelligence..." is more than a little scary. As it is now, we have troops that have been spread too thin for too long fighting a war in Iraq that even they are being to question. I personally don't believe for one moment that this is not a public relations preparation for an attack against Iraq.
It seems almost daily now we are getting reports about the Iranian involvement with Iraq, with reports of bombs that they are supplying to Iraq, etc. And it also seems that almost daily, we hear more and more about how the pre-war intelligence on Iraq was "cooked."
Excuse me if I'm a bit skeptical. Only time will tell if my skepticism is founded.
